Design Outcomes: Haute couture brand exhibition of IRIS VAN HERPEN

Role: exhibition designer and experience designer

Design Type: narrative design, exhibition design, experience design, installation design

Project Introduction

From my analysis of different aspects of Iris Van Herpen, I found that the brand is highly concerned about the relationship between humans and nature. From the microorganisms to the Marco universe, the different species of nature are the concerned objects of designers.

In this project, I chose three collection series as the main object of display and narrative content, hoping to show people the core concept of the designer—the attention to nature. Based on this goal, I looked for more phenomena that could represent our relationship with these three, incorporated into narrative content, and used interactive device design to form a more complete narrative content and experience. I hope to narrate the core ideas of the designers, wishing people to think about the neglected creatures in nature that exist around us and our relationship with them.
